ENGLISH: Last night we went back in time to Chloe (81 Ludlow, mellan Delancey och Broome), a Lower East Side-hotspot dating a couple of years ago. De basement door is signless and they work hard on the exclusivity, but honestly the place was kind of slow (but shout out to the dj:s who played a fun mix of indie/hip hop/electro/new wave). So we didn’t stay so long, and continued to Pravda (281 Lafayette St). A vodka bar – or caviar bar as they put it on their website – in a different basement who’s claim to fame lies even longer back. (It’s one of Keith McNally’s places, the guy behind Balthazar, Pastis, Pulinos…) There we had apple cocktails and found almost every Swedish journalist/press photographer in town. It was nice. But the best part of the evening was my new friend Giovanni!
