Barbuto

leave a comment »

J tog dark chocolate sorbetti, amazing!

ENGLISH: Now it was a while since I wrote about restaurants. Barbuto (775 Washington Street, between Jane and West 12th) is an italian bistro in Meatpacking with a cosy yet industrial feel (the place used to be a garage). The menu changes from day to day, and after the season. Last week when we were there both I and J had a wonderful gnocchi with zucchini. Since I’m a vegetarian it’s sometimes hard to write about food, but according to our company the steak was great. The lamb a bit stringy though. For dessert I had italian chocolate mousse, J dark chocolate sorbetti, amazing!
