Yaffa Cafe

ENGLISH: When it comes to brunch in this city, the lack of a line sometimes feels more urgent than a cheap mimosa. Yesterady at Yaffa Cafe (97 Saint Marks Place) we got them both. My pancakes weren’t very special, but the interior sure was – kitsch overload! They have a wallpaper or two that are more than welcome to move into my white apartment. The crowd was a mix of NYU kids and older East Village originals. Brunch + mimosa = 12.95, pretty good.
