Dearest Of Dearest: Ruvan

with one comment

Ruvan Wijesooriya is the name of a fantastic photographer I know. Yesterday he opened his new exhibition “Dearest of dearest” at Ion Studio (41 Wooster Street) and the room was filled with dear faces – both on the walls and in the audience. A really great thing was that everyone was welcome to take pictures of the wall and replace them with a handwritten note, which added a nice dynamic to the show. I only took photos of me, ehum… The place was packed, there was even a line outside and at the end the only drink left at the bar was Four Loko (it’s unclear whether it was the banned version or the new one, I didn’t dare try). Ruvan also has a lookbook for designer Mandy Coon out right now, you can see it here.
