Lunch At Peels

leave a comment »

ENGLISH: In October I wrote that I’d come back to Peels (325 Bowery, corner of 2nd St.) in daylight to immortalise the pretty interior. A couple of weeks ago it was time for a lunch. The company was great – Lil’ D entertained all the guests with her cute mischiefs – and the restaurant was light and beautiful. But neither the food (Daniel is pouting because of the small portion size, my sandwich looks good but was a bit wet) nor the service (slow, unknowledgeable about the menu) made an impression.
