ENGLISH: After yesterday’s lunch coffee was served at Café Reggio (119 MacDougal St) in the company of an old friend, Elisabeth, who’s staying a couple of days in the city on her way to Colombia. It’s a classic Greenwich Village Café – actually the neighborhoods oldest – that has been featured in movies like “The Godfather” and served as the place to go for beat poets like Kerouac. Yesterday a cappuccino outside was perfect, but this winter I’m going inside, writing and eating italian deserts, surrounded by Renaissance art and classical music. Can’t wait!
