Katarina Matsson gets to the core of the Big Apple

Yoshitomo Nara

ENGLISH: I’ve always identified with Yoshitomo Nara’s lonely, protesting figures. Right now he exhibits at Asia Society Museum (725 Park Avenue, at 70th St), and by chance we arrived during the three hours when it’s free (friday’s 6pm–9pm). The exhibition shows his work from the 80’s til today, showing how the Japanese neo pop art developed, nice! I always love museum shops – and managed to by my first Christmas presents!
