Blind Date Number One: B Cup

ENGLISH: Yesterday I had no less than two great blind dates. Number one was with Linda, a Swedish news correspondent who I hooked up with on Facebook through a mutual friend. We met at B Cup (corner Ave B and 13th Street) in the East Village. I ordered a chai latte and didn’t realize until too late that chai in this case didn’t mean tea, but some kind of overly sweetened mix that came from a carton. But it was nice anyway, two hours passed easily in this 90’s bohemian styled place (read: swamped walls and terra-cotta) – everything was exactly like in high school.
