Annabelle Store Launch Party

ENGLISH: The weekend started with a quick stop at the launch party for new Lower East Side-boutique Annabelle (105 Stanton Street). J and I were greeted by the smell of sour wine and the small, but cute, space was absolutely packed with people. The walls were covered by art from young artists and the clothes and jewelry looked very promising, but it was to crowded to get an honest opinion. Annabelle herself makes pretty ikat patterns and a lot in the store made me think of this. Youco was shooting the HBO tv-series “How to make it in America” next doors – she’s an extra – so she stopped by, but after a glass of wine it was time to continue into the night.
